Gamasutra – Broussard Updates Duke Nukem Forever Status
“We just want to finish it.” Well I should think so! It’s about time they got this out. I’m also excited by Prey…it sounded like fun when I read about it a year or two ago in PC Magazine.

Couple collects gifts in sextuplet scam
Talk about immoral people…taking advantage of friends and neighbors with such an elaborate scheme…just makes we cry…and especially afterwards. They don’t have remorse…they must have really needed the money, right? But they were asking for material goods too. So they just wanted to randomly improve their lives? I don’t get it…

Telegraph | News | RAF man who refused to serve in Iraq found guilty
He had moral qualms with the war? Then he should have asked for an honorable discharge on those grounds. Or is that not possible? Either way, you can’t just neglect your orders. So he’s been court-martialed.

China appeals for resuming N. Korea talks
China demands that we defuse North Korea’s nukes because that’s more important than the financial sanctions? That’s ridiculous, China. The last thing we want to do is give North Korea more money.

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Fossils fill gap in human lineage
Another revolutionary evolution find…could the first man (Adam) have been a primitive man and evolved into us?

BBC NEWS | Health | Antibiotics ‘could treat asthma’
Britain tests more drugs on ashmatics. Keep on trying mate! You’ll get it eventually!

BBC NEWS | Americas | Katrina rebuilding rules issued
How exactly do you ‘jack up’ a house? At least they’re starting to rebuild…that’s a good thing right?

BBC NEWS | UK | UK Politics | New terror law comes into force
It’s a good thing Cartman lives in America and not London! His recent exploits against Family Guy would have been shut down by this fantastic law.

BBC NEWS | Europe | Polish radio ‘sorry for offence’

BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | US refuses to end N Korea freeze
Because North Korea refuses to stop trying to enrich uranium…why is it so bloody important to the ‘axis of evil’ to obtain enriched uranium plants? Must be power. No, not usable power, POWER!

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Violence over Indian star’s death
India’s culture is incredibly fanatic about their Bollywood culture? Maybe Bombay Dreams is more reality that farce….<shudder>…that scares me.

Google Calendar
BBC NEWS | Technology | Google acts to organise your life – Google is all about algorithms doing things better than what’s currently out there. The other thing they’re all about is scooping giants like Yahoo and Microsoft with better, more user-friendly technology that forces these lumbering behemoths to upgrade their services. This is a good thing, encouraging future development in a free market…isn’t it? And what is a technology release without comments from Lifehacker.

Does A Massawyrm $*!* In THE WILD??
I will probably see this movie…especially since it’s a better Madagascar and a Disney film.

Vern dons goggles to see HOLLOW MAN 2… yes, HOLLOW MAN 2!!!
I enjoyed the original too! I don’t go for horror flicks normally. But this was too cool to be just a horror flick.

Anger Management director shouts SHAZAM!
I hope they don’t screw this up…there’s no mention of how close DC is involved in this production so we don’t really know. I’ve been really impressed with what Dan Dido (head of DC) has been doing with the available movie franchises. Another thought is if they keep the way they’re going with movie licenses (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel), they could do an Infinite Crisis movie instead of just a Justice League movie. That would be freaking awesome!
