We are a brand new, bilingual, multiethnic church plant, barely a year old
The first thing I felt was overwhelmed and under-resourced
I would get angry, frustrated and upset at my team for not bringing 100%
The Lord told me: “It’s not what you or your people do – it’s what I will do through you and your people.”
We all get overwhelmed and feel under-resourced
The next thing that the Lord spoke to us
Our youth leader heard God tell her – prayer has power
He is our source, He is our fountain of life
Your power will come through prayer so you van accomplish great things
3. Celebrate the victories
Many times we worked so hard that we couldn’t celebrate the good things
Worried about the PowerPoint and the band and the parking and the tacos…
Have parties when something good happens
We gotta have some fun and celebrate the good things
Some of you have been party poopers…not celebrating

We plant churches because the work of God is unfinished – so we spread the word
What we’re doing here is an experiment
We are networking the church plant, doing it together, mentoring, praying, financially supporting
Covenant means in it together
We’re excited to see what God does in His body
