Paul All of my life i offer you Jesus-He gives back double Matt Jon is prepping his next series The past few weeks he’s been wrestling with God’s goodness Disaster on the otherwise o the world doesn’t directly affect your life Personal disaster though makes you ask, is God good Goodness of God doesn’t depend on your character God is good … All th time. All the time…god is good He is risen…he is risen indeed Good is very relative Good or great haircut, Kobe have a good or great season, Good job or great job Mostly take great over good in our culture More an eater than a cook Ribs he cooks Getting it right is a process If you put all this work into something and it’s just good, you’re demoralized Maybe the authors of the Bible didn’t intend for us to interpret it that way, that tamely … Continue reading →

Groucho: A Life In Revue – OnStage Playhouse

They may call themselves a community theatre, but the performances are nothing less than Broadway. The show, co-authored by Groucho’s oldest son Arthur, takes place in the memories of Julius “Groucho” Marx as he guides through the up-and-down cycle that was his career in show business. One definite highlight of the show was the directorial choice to split Chico and Harpo into separate actors. This allowed tender moments and lots of comedy. Harpo does the famous knife-dropping act from “Animal Crackers” and does an entire charades bit with Chico. Chico does incredibly well, playing all his own music!!!!!at old women gallerylingerie stockings glamournj glory holeshorny mature women for datingpersonal wife swapscary animalsadult personal web sitesathlete cockbdsm cumfrench fistingcleveland ohio zooadult personals indiai gave my first handjobsecretary sex videopetite porn starsshit swappetite teens sexlatin teensanal prolapsecelebrity nipscitalopram delayed ejaculationblonde handjobsbdsm cumlatin teensenormous busty animedating advice for older adultschild penis enlargementadult watersportsmature … Continue reading →

21 and The Forbidden Kingdom

21 An exciting based-on-a-true-story drama, we follow the life experience of an MIT student who needs 300,000 dollars to go to Harvard Med…so he counts cards in Vegas, gets emotional and pisses off his mentor, gets cheated and gets revenge and gets cheated again. Lots of fun and lots of good jokes plus an important life lesson: if you get lots of money, DON’T HIDE IT IN THE CEILING OF YOUR DORM ROOM! 😉 The Forbidden Kingdom This film freaking rules! Well first off – the opening is ok up to the point where the gang banger starts beating up on Michael Angarano for hanging out with “those chinks in yellow town”…first off I didn’t know south Boston was so racist and second I didn’t know gang bangers took karate. My big issue with the opening was that is was SOOOOOO 90’s: kid is introduced; kid gets challenged or beat-up; … Continue reading →

City of Angels – Cal State Fullerton

A decent production of one of my favorite musicals, my first complaint is with the program. It kind of awkwardly describes whats actually going on in the play. It says that the story has two plot lines: one is an author writing the screenplay of one of his novels and the other is that same author dealing with the Hollywood politics as his screenplay is torn to shreds (or something to that effect). It also has two “cast lists”: the Hollywood cast and the movie cast. It is kind of hard at first blush to interpret that statement if you’re unfamiliar with the play, so let me try and lay it out for you in a less confusing manner. Stine, the author of City of Angels, is adapting his novel into a screenplay for his director, Buddy Fidler. While Stine is writing the screenplay, we see the film noir detective … Continue reading →

The Built-Up Theorem

This won’t surprise you, but I’ve learned surprisingly little since then. Mainly some fine tuning of the base theorem, but other than that, the essentials are right there. Mostly what needed to change was the climbing a steep path metaphor. “Here’s my other analogy for living as a Christian: you’re traveling up a steep rocky path from which it is very easy to stumble, but God is always there to lend a helping hand. All you have to do is reach for it.” The problem with this metaphor is that it makes God external to you, when in fact he is internal. So, if I were to rewrite it, it would say “it is very easy to stumble, but God is always there to lend a helping…heart. Because he’s inside of you and can fill you with divine strength.” Yeah, that’s what I thought…it just doesn’t work. So let’s just … Continue reading →

Base Theorem

Hidden in a valley in Cleveland National Forest is the Lazy W Ranch Camp. Owned and operated by the California-Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, they rent out for different Methodist events. The only ones I am familiar with are the Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High Camps. I think I went to an elementary camp in 6th grade, but I don’t remember my past (who would want to?) except for that I attended Senior High Camp in 2000, 2002 and this year (2003 for those of you who are bad with numbers). These events were fun because you got to get away from it for a week (which is a policy I only used last year and this year, the other times I brought up electronic devices of all sorts) and get back to nature and to God. The thing I’m leading up to is this theory … Continue reading →
